A native North Carolinian, I was born and raised in the small town of Jacksonville, NC.   Growing up, I had a passion for cakes (and food) that came naturally to me.  I was always interested in learning about food and new techniques that I could master.  I even took on the challenge of doing a friend's wedding cake at the age of 16 and I was hooked! 

 

From there I went off to college and studied at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC and graduated with honors with a degree in Culinary Arts.  Another passion of mine is nutrition and fitness.  I also have two degrees in Nutrition and Exercise Science and worked as a personal trainer and nutritional counselor while in school.   Oh and I also do mobile spray tans!  Let's just say I like to stay busy!  Just a little extra fun fact about me;)

 

  I have been doing cakes now for over 15 years and have never looked back!  I could have not done this without the amazing support of my husband and family.  We are a husband & wife team

 and choose to stay small so every cake gets the attention it deserves.  We only take on what we can handle, only to ensure you nothing but an absolutely stunning cake that actually tastes

as good as it looks!

 When I started my business, I knew that freshness and the quality of the ingredients were just as important as the aesthetics of the cake.   From the cakes, to the fillings and delicious buttercream, everything is made from scratch and is never frozen or made with pre-made ingredients.  Absolutely no shortcuts!  We love cake and being able to make your wedding day truly special!
